Ingredients Required :

  • Five Fully Riped Red Tomatoes, chopped into two pieces
  • four tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 Red Chillies,
  • curry leaves
  • 2 tamarind pieces
  • 1/4 lemon pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon chana dal
  • 4 garlic pieces
  • coriander leaves
  • two cups of water
Method For Cooking Tomato Rasam :

Initially take a pressure cooker and add chopped tomatoes, pour two cups of water, add some salt and wait for 5 vessels, now crush the tomatoes and keep them aside. take a bowl and add oil , mustard seeds , jeera seeds , urad dal , chana dal into it , add two red chillies , curry leaves , crush garlic pieces and add it into oil ,  now pour slowly crushed tomato semi-solid batter into the oil , now add turmeric powder , tamarind leaves and salt to it, wait for 5-10 minutes and add lemon juice, now switch off the stove, garnish with coriander leaves ,
